How to Peel a Hard Boiled Egg
Peeling hard boiled eggs can be frustrating and time consuming. Here are a few simple tips to make easier.
Instructions
- Step 1
Crackle the egg all over by tapping it on your counter.
- Step 2
Roll the egg gently between your hands to loosen the shell.
- Step 3
Peel the egg starting at the large end. If you hold the egg under cold running water or dip it in a bowl of water this will help remove the shell.
When hard boiling eggs always use eggs that have been in the fridge a few days as they are easier to peel than fresh eggs. Keep hard boiled eggs refrigerated in their shell and use within one week.
