Grab-‘n’-Go Egg Breakfast Box

Ditch the store-bought breakfasts and embrace a healthier, homemade alternative. This easy grab-and-go breakfast box combines eggs and fresh ingredients for a meal that keeps you nourished. Assemble it ahead of time for mornings that require a little less juggling and a lot more ease.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs (cooked to your liking and prepped in advance)
- 1 oz (30 g) Cheddar cheese, cubed
- 1 small apple, cored and sliced
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) peanut butter
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) roasted unsalted almonds
- 1 slice whole wheat bread
- 1 tsp (5 mL) butter
Instructions
- Step 1
Peel eggs and include them in a wide, shallow resealable container alongside cheese, apple, peanut butter, and almonds. Cover tightly and refrigerate.
- Step 2
Just before serving, toast bread and spread with butter. Cut into triangles and add to container.
Tips
Make up to 5 days of boxes to refrigerate for a week’s worth of to-go breakfasts (slice apple before serving).
